I looked at G4ILO, Julian's, site and found there an interesting
discussion of the Plantronics Gamecon 1 for use with the K2. Now this
headset is not available down here in Oz as far as I can determine. I
am wondering if Julian or anybody else is able to comment upon the
Plantronics .Audio 250 which is available down here.
The Plantronics site contains almost no specification details, and in a
response to a query from me, have replied as follows, "The .Audio 350 is
a modern equivalent to the old GameCom 1; the two headsets have
comparable specifications however neither of these products are radio
headsets. We do not rate our analog PC headsets as compatible with radio
consoles. We do not release technical specifications of our retail
headsets."
Just how comparable is "comparable?"
