Julian, Here's what's in the command: PC0500;PC;DS;
I tried it again and I get the same thing. The power cannot be adjusted with the front panel dial past 12 watts. All the shortcut does is cause the commands: PC0500;PC;DS; to be sent to the radio. You can right-click it and see the commands that are sent, and change them if you want to. The PC0500; sets the power to 5W. The PC; causes the power level to be reported back to the program straight away and the DS; causes the status information to be updated. Only the first command is necessary to set the power. The others are just so you can see the effect immediately. Nothing that is sent should have the effect of disabling the PA permanently. ----- Julian, G4ILO.
