The standard VGA cables may omit or combine key pins. Some people have  
found Y connectors with all 15 pins connected. There is a small  
commercial device that has a 15 pin connector attached to a PC board  
with screw connectors for all 15 wires. I'm away from my PC now but  
these are discussed in the archives of this forum.
