No one has ownership of the 8-letters libdwarf.

libdwarf isn't a trademark.

No one is telling you where to install the software.
Put it in /usr/trademark/elftoolchain/lib.  Now,
read your compiler documentation about the -L option.

Your messages beg the question: "what other libdwarf
is elftoolchain libdwarf being confused with on your
system?"  More importantly are you insisting that the
developers of the other libdwarf rename their library
because of trademark?
