I found yesterday two examples of applet that are in the notification area, i actually try to apply it on your code (for fun, and to learn python...) If i success to finalize the class (maybe this evening) i will send you or on the ml my draft and you will see if it can help or not.
What I have done is not an applet, it's just an apps with a notification. But I want to create an applet : - because there is a similar tool in kde - more easy for the user to add it on the panel if he want - because UMC is based upon Ubuntu (so gnome) What do you think ?
What do you mean about the internationalization ? I think i used the wrong term. I was meaning 'localization' ( UI in different languages : english, french, spanish...)
Yes, I know ;) but how it works ? --
