Also, I have a very hard time imagining that using an LLM to generate a short, highly specific commit message — or to improve a hand-written one — would raise a copyright issue. It almost feels as though the risk of using the exact same wording to describe a change as someone else has used elsewhere is the same when a human writes the message: basically just pure coincidence.
