Nisus was anti-MS before it was the cool thing to be. I thought Nisus Writer was absolutly the BEST word processor I ever tried/used. I have to admit, the ONLY reason I am not a regular user of it right now is because right after I bought it (this is back with v4 or something like that), I was steadily on my transistion to it, when I started a very long project (about a year) for a client that REQUIRED MS Word (documents were approved by lawyers, and if anything changed, I mean ANYTHING, even as simple a single word wrap, the document was no longer approved, and had to go back to legal. So we couldn't risk that the document would change in conversion from Word to anything else... as is we pushed the envelope by using Word on the Mac rather than on the PC). So I was forced to switch full time to Word, which really just killed me on the Nisus Writer transistion. Now that I am MS free on my home machine, I use AppleWorks in OS X simply because it handles what I need (basic spreadsheet and basic word processing).
