Your best bet is to contact your ISP and ask them since it all depends on how your mail server is set up as to which (if any) special character you can use to replace your username "@" sign. The server that I used to be on would allow and underscore, another accepted a "." When we moved to our own in-house servers, there was no alternate character set up to be accepted. I had to have our guy add an alternate character that could be accepted instead of the "@". We now can accept a plus sign (+). So, instead of driving yourself nuts guessing which character to try, contact your mail host and ask them. Good Luck!
