Late to this thread, if you have not found a way to connect to your cable 
ISP with Emailer, please let me know. I have a friend who uses cox..

Recently I told my cable people that I am getting "Server is busy, try 
again in a few minutes" or, "Mailbox is unavailable, try again in a few 
minutes".....Now what could be clearer than that?
They told me I needed to log in with OE, because that would give them an 
error message they "could understand".
I went ballistic--- what part of BUSY don't you understand? I said....
The matter was never resolved and I now get these errors, and it's been 
just since mediaone went to attbi.
