Tks, Alicia, I was given the work with the instructions that I open and save files in 'Wordpad' and view them in Explorer. Trying to get around that with BBedit and Icab. I'm partially successful, just curious if there was anything else out there, barring upgrading, way out of my reach at this moment. Tks again, virginia
