I'm no 'Erin Brockovich', but this whole business with ATT only
making their email work with MS-OE seemed to be of great interest to
those in the government who oversee possible monopolies and abuses
thereof.
It was my contention that, since AT & T is the ONLY cable outfit we can
use, they have no right to force us to use MS-OE by configuring their
servers so that this is the ONLY email client that works with them.
Since the government seems to agree with ME, they were VERY interested in
this situation and so I think you might see a class action suit in the
near future.
