Hi All,

I want to send something to both our daughter (HP laptop) and son (G4) as
an attachment... it's a .pdf document. I was going to send Jen a .zip
copy and Keith a .sit one, but when I checked the size the difference
between .pdf and .zip/.sit was minimal, so I decided to just send the
plain .pdf file and let it go at that. But...

No matter how I went about it, when I attempted to send the email StuffIt
jumped in and began to stuff the attachment. I wentl to Preferences ->
Outgoing messages and =unchecked= the "Compress enclosures by default"
option, but it doesn't seem to do any good, even after I quit Emailer and
then start it up again. How can I make the fool thing do what I want?
(This is on a G4/766 running 9.2.2 and Em@iler 2.0v3.
