Hi, do you have an external modem? If so, what brand & model? Or does this Performa 6400 have a phone jack on the back of it? What's special about the performa 6400 installed CD (7.5.3) is that it includes the special extensions that you need to use the built in modem.
If you open Zterm and type: ati4 ati what does it answer back with?
