In fact I think the Cmd-D "Erase" shortcut is the worst thing in
Emailer
and should be ResEdited out of it right away:
- no chance to recover from a mistake (Bad, Bad, and totally un-mac)
I don't think so. I've been using it for many years, and it simply
moves
a message to the Deleted Mail folder. (2.0v3, USA version)
Oops, my semi-mistake : Cmd-D trashes SAVED messages but effectively
ZAPS
unsaved ones (with a confirmation dialog though). At least in 2.0v1
which
I use most because of the hi-ascii bug in 2.0v3.
Still bad since it applies a singular and more dangerous behaviour to
new
messages while you're in the process of writing them, which is
precisely
the most vulnerable situation.
