> >I have to ask the immediatly obvious question: > >Who here is successfully running Emailer under 10.2.6 on a G4 processor >based machine? Anyone? > I am. Though to be honest, it was not originally a G4. I have a Wallstreet II with a 500 MHZ Powerlogix G4 Bluechip and OS X 10.2.6. I've only had the G4 about 1 month now, but no problems yet. Previously, I was running a G3 Bluechip which died and was replaced under warranty as well as my original G3 266 mhz processor ... all under various versions of OS X. [EMAIL PROTECTED] has been stable the whole time, no matter which processor was in place.
I do, however, have nearly all extensions and control panels in my Classic environment turned off. I'm not sure what version of OS 9 is on Classic, but it should be the latest and greatest with all Software Updates installed. Oh, I also do not use [EMAIL PROTECTED] to dial out for its email as I have DSL so it's TCP/IP connections all the way. I also am not collecting AOL email if that figures into the equation ... AOL got dumped at the beginning of the year as I was getting nothing but spam from them. Anything else?
