I'm almost certain I tried that a while back, just to show someone that Mail was dead slow and Emailer under Classic on the same mac felt 10 times faster specially as it snapped open with no noticeable Dock bouncing. This was on a G4/450 AGP under 10.2.6 (that's an older G4 than the one having problems and maybe I didn't use it long enough to make sure everything worked). Could it be a dual-G4 problem? I think I heard of dual-G4 specific issues before. And excuse me if it was said before, but keep in mind that since most users don't regroup help and prefs files in the emailer app's folder, and don't move that folder when they move the database anyway, the difference between 2 macs can lie in those prefs and support files in addition to the app itself. I know I had Emailer yell at me twice recently about a corrupted prefs file that would be replaced with default settings (it never occured before and I don't know how it happened). ---- VRic ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
