Dear Emailer list friends, I have received several what I am assuming are spam emails lately with attachments labeled as jpg files which I have not opened.
I have gone to my downloads folder to search for these attachments so I can delete them. They do not appear in my downloads folder. I have sorted it by date and searched by file name and cannot find the file anywhere to delete. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be going on? Is the spammer making the file invisible and giving it a "fake" name so that it doesn't show up so I can't delete it? I have also tried dragging the attachment directly from the email to the trash, but it doesn't show up in the trash. It still shows as an attachment in the emailer attachment window. Here is the file name just in case this helps. Note it has a leading period/decimal and "Jewelry" is incorrectly spelled both in the email subject and in the attachment. The actual message was entitled "Re Jewelery" and was from "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" Attachment name: .JEWERLY.filesimage001.jpg Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
