I was unsuccessful in getting a script fired from inside emailer, to delete OS X invisible files. It can be done via AppleScript, you just need to script the shell (which can be done easily). However, for some reason, deleting the file failed when called from inside an Emailer launched script. But it works when done with a regular applescript. I did not test calling a regular applescript from inside an Emailer applescript. That might very well work. I played with this a while back when trying to create an AppleScript that would remove the .DS_Store file that kept appearing in the Temp Incoming folder...
