I was unsuccessful in getting a script fired from inside emailer, to 
delete OS X invisible files. It can be done via AppleScript, you just 
need to script the shell (which can be done easily). However, for some 
reason, deleting the file failed when called from inside an Emailer 
launched script. But it works when done with a regular applescript.

I did not test calling a regular applescript from inside an Emailer 
applescript. That might very well work. I played with this a while back 
when trying to create an AppleScript that would remove the .DS_Store file 
that kept appearing in the Temp Incoming folder... I didn't test passing 
the control to a 2nd script simply because I've never done it and wasn't 
sure how, and frankly by the time I debugged to the point of that being 
my only remaining option I could think of, I was too annoyed to care any 
more >:-|
