No, it doesn't, and I wouldn't presume to say that it did. After all, my
daughter is married to a German who is one of the best men I've ever met.
And her Father-in-law grew up during that time, and I would never presume
that that gentlemen admired Hitler.

But Herr Gropenfurher, some years ago, told an interviewer for a magazine
that he admired Hitler. Of course he is also saying in his defense on
that matter as well as the groping, that he had no idea that he would be
running for Governor in the future. I guess that means that we can't be
held accountable for what we do before we get into politics. Works for me.

I believe the most recent victims were from a lot more recently than 25
years ago. Oh well, at least it shows a consistency over many years.

As far as "That is Hollywood" goes- it sure is. Stars that sell tickets
can get away with damn near anything because they can ruin careers. That
is why the women say that they didn't come forward sooner.

Of course you, and all of the rest of us here, would have absolutely
stood on principle and accepted losing our jobs and going on the dole as
a matter of principle before we let him grope us. But then we have to
acknowledge the possibility that some less moral individuals, perhaps
unduly influenced by the necessity to support their kids, just might have
been a bit more weak-kneed.
