Actually, I think he may well have achieved those goals partly _because_ he was a scumbag - the adage "nice guys finish last" is very often true. He also painted quite lovely pictures - the trouble with human monsters is that they are not two dimensional - they all have qualities that can suck you into believing in their message. The trick is in understanding where the line between good and evil lies - I am not sure that Arnie is able to make that distinction.
