My ISP offers the same service and choice of Deleting SPAM before I read them or inserting the word SPAM in the Subject line and I have programmed Emailer Mail Actions to file them in my SPAM folder for later editing and deletion. The problem is there are so many new and innovating types of spammer messages now such as changing one letter in the word Viagra that it is difficult to keep on making up new Mail Actions. For example I have emails with the word Via-gra, Vi$gra etc. I have not saved and compared From addresses yet to see if one can set up a Mail action to block certain addresses. And of course there can be so many Mail Actions that it is bound to slow down incoming email isn't it? For the life of me I cannot figure out how any marketing department or person would even consider sending out these emails. If I see an email touting some product in this manner I delete it and would not buy anything from them. Do people really get hooked by these things? regards, doug >My Cox ISP just offered a Spam Blocker service.
