What is it that you can do free Chris? With all the emails you receive and send I would think that whatever you do about SPAM it has a cost to it in time and since you are in business then time is money. Also my feeling about this aberrant behavior of spammers is similar to what I believe about criminal behavior in that the cause of this is the lack of proper education. Therefore we need a new approach to education, one that is focused on re-education, prevention and rehabilitation and which deals with the whole person, i.e. body, mind and spirit without being religious. I have such a program, body of knowledge, a holistic education philosophy and core curriculum but the problem is the existing systems and powers that be are so egocentric and limited in thought they block anything they do not understand or that in any way does not resemble their current academics and specialized terminologies. But there are inroads being made and sooner or later this type of education or process will be in our system. All we can hope for is that it happens quick enough to lessen the effects of a systemic breakdown in society. I know this sounds like some new doomsday view but history will validate that there are cycles in which a new system or integrating power is at work and which causes a disintegration or decline in the old systems. For example we have moved from the kings and rulers, industrial era etc. into a social democractic type era of a service type economy and such and we are moving from nationalism into internationalism and globalization and thus existing systems are not able to function as they did before all these changes of rapid communication and travel with a high tech condition. The problem, as I see it, is that far too many people in our grossly materialistic nation feel that technology is the answer to all our problems and it is not. Nor is money the answer. OK, that is my soapbox speech for today. Seriously though I do feel that this spammer situation will not be solved by technology, no matter how powerful Bill Gates feels he is. regards, doug >>How about Bill Gates' proposal for a minor fee to send email.
