I don't, I must admit, trade Mac files with others much; mostly, I get sent PC word processing files, turn 'em into ClarisWorks, edit them, then convert back to Word and send them on their way. I don't even have Word installed, which may help protect me.
Perhaps I am dumb, or lucky, or both. I'd be curious, Doug, did your current software ever catch a virus? They are rare in Mac-world. -- John W. Verity So.
