I'll reply to this as, although you addressed it personally to Bill, you sent it to everyone on the list. Your email application neither knows nor cares that you are using broadband. The only possible problem is Emailer's inability to handle SMTP authorization required by *some* ISPs (nothing to do with broadband) - as mentioned already by Christopher Gill. Search for "Baton Mail". Apart from advantages already mentioned, broadband lets you take and make telephone calls or faxes *while connected to the Internet*! It's almost like having a second line. (Ever had you wife complain that she needs to use the phone while you are on-line? Ever had the kids pick up the extension and cut off your connection?) Well you'll never miss another phone call or lose your Internet connection again. In addition, every time OSX announces there's an update available you can click YES instead of thinking "oh, I'd better leave that till another time when I have 3 hours to spare".
