In Digest V2004 #123, the person identified as Doug McAdam <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> hunted and pecked out the following:
>DSL would only be $30 mon. whereas I now pay $20. Broadband >is supposed to be much faster than DSL but it also is about $40-50 per >mon. So is Broadband really worth paying double to what I now pay or >should I go to DSL? I'm guessing that when you say "Broadband" you really mean "Cable"? I know nothing about Cable, but DSL does all we want via BellSouth. I considered DSL versus a second phone line (at that time Cable wasn't available to us), and found DSL cheaper -- and we got a "second" phone line into the bargain. (With DLS you can use the same phone line for voice, incoming or outgoing. So we sometimes have three Macs using the Internet and somebody talking on the phone...) -- Selah! Bwms -= Apparently if you play a Windows CD backwards you hear satanic messages. You think that's bad? If you play it forwards it installs Windows! =- ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
