Since we're on this subject, in the next few weeks I'll have to get a PC for my son (I'm keeping my iBook). I'm currently on dialup and recently found out the ethernet port on the 3.5 year old iBook (which I've never used) doesn't work. Dialup on 2 machines at the same time will be unbearably slow, so I've decided that I'll upgrade to DSL when I get his computer. An Airport will work, but I want his machine to have a serious firewall (being a PeeCee and all). The Apple solution is to get a firewall/router and have the DSL go directly into it, from it have one line go to the PC and the other go to the Airport, then I'll have to put an Airport card in the iBook so I can bypass the broke ethernet port. Also, this month Macaddict lists instructions on how to make OS X Mail access AOL accounts. In my preliminary test, it worked.
