>Why, I remember when Chris was a >newbie! ;) Yup, that would have been around 1998/1999 when I joined the list.
I remember when the AOL y2k issues cropped up, and the "pros" developed a hack to fix it. The hack was over zealous and broke attachment encoding. I tracked down exactly which part of the hack had to be installed to fix the y2k issue and NOT break file encoding... but since I was a newbie and had done little but lurk until then, all of the "pros" doubted I was right and wouldn't listen. Later one of them either also figured it out, or actually followed my directions, realized I was right, and suddenly everyone was willing to listen rather than scream doom for Emailer. (and of course, not much longer after that AOL fixed the problem on their end, removing the need for the hack). Ahh, those were the days :-) -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
