2.0v3 on Mac OS X 10.3.9 and Mac OS X 10.4.1. Another good reason for not using the Apple Mail program. I can boot any version of OS on my Mac and get access to all my email without any extra steps. I am not familiar with Apple Mail so I don't know (or want to know) how tightly the different versions are interweaved into the operating system.
