Well, I just got a big jolt from the Beagle Board community. The guy who is making these boards has 3000 blank PCBs ready to assemble, and the company that makes some small part on them has told him they will not get that part possibly until MAY 2010! Yikes, a 26-week lead time!
There are some other boards roughly similar to the Beagle that may be suitable for further development, still with the OMAP3530 CPU. But, that is sure a kick in the pants for any commercial project that was planning on containing the Beagle. I'm still pushing ahead with development, and will have my prototype of the EPP converter board probably tomorrow. I haven't heard anything from Torsten, but hope he is moving along with the RTAI port.
