I own a later model Bridgeport with a DX-32 control. The description
previous is exactly how it behaves. It may be useful if you are programming
by hand, but I don't recommend makeing it a 'feature' if that is the point
of this conversation. Let the programmer decide how the motion should
occur. If you want it to move like a BOSS, then split the rapid into two
blocks.
