The RepRap world is generally based on Arduino boards, which use a variety of AVR chips. The current firmware typically runs on one of the "mega" flavors, typically either: Arduino Mega 2560 (AVR = ATmega2560) http://arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardMega2560 Arduino Mega (AVR = ATmega1280) http://arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardMega There is a lot of fixed-point math, but IIRC there is some floating-point sprinkled about as well. I haven't crawled through the AVR firmware a lot to see what is used to generate constants or other magic numbers and how much floating-point is in the actual code. - -- Charles Steinkuehler [email protected] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAlA+Q+cACgkQLywbqEHdNFzLYwCdGR/diQipRF2Bg0Qo28OBil9z H9UAnRp491B1/assnLrwi3voRc8B0U4u =H1sk -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
