Well , to get a ubuntu packet, generally if you make a debian one
youre pretty much done ....

 I want to add my 2 cents also, it would be really nice to have a
setup for the fabbing guys .... for repraps, mendels and such ... that
they can run straight out of the box ...... I think that would get a
bit of userbase, and there should be a tinkerer or two in there.
 So if we can keep the core simple, and add complexity as needed ?
RIght now we have to dive into the middle of it .... to get off the
ground.

 Compared to Mach3 and such , linuxcnc is a bit intimidating ......
