Sorry. I must have misread your name with the (sourceforge) BLOCKS post. I figure that if that was you then we could ditch that and start a new one with MachineKit. Using the name is not right out yet... Email the people over at machinekit.com and see if they would mid to much us using the name for a machinetool project -- including a disambugation page to point them to their site if someone stumbles onto use from them. Unfortunately, all the MachineKit.(com,net,org) is all taken... Oh well. Sorry for any confusion...
