I can't decide if the heads are conceptually tools or spindles. The spindle table has an offset field. If this is set to the extruder spacing then a spindle-swap works. But, it probably does make more sense to see it as a tool change. It is worth noting that the queries can lie about the table header names. if anyone out there in LinuxCNC-space has any experience with a multi-head printer then I would be interested to see how they are controlled, and we can see if the usage fits the proposed database structure. -- atp If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: Build for Windows Store. http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Emc-developers mailing list Emc-developers@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-developers
