I'm moving this thread to the developer's list. I have been trying to get camview-emc set up on a new LinuxCNC install, and am totally lost! Can anyone give me step by step instructions to install it?
I updated to 2.5.4, which solved a few problems. So, I am at the wiki page http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?Adding_Digital_Zoom_To_Camview-Emc and there is the mysterious line : Step #1: compile camunits to add util.crop capability with no further details. This seemed like it would fix the exact error I weas getting, so I tried to download and compile camunits from what looked like the authoritative source, but now it is even more broken: ImportError: /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/_camunits.so: undefined symbol: cam_pixel_convert_8u_iyu1_to_8u_gray Anybody know what to do?
