there is nothing replacing experience.
I have to say, that drives are self made some 3 years ago and the machine they
are plugged in, works over that 3 years > 12 machine-hours a day.
After install and setup I never touched that machine, employees do, I just went
to upgrade linuxcnc to 2.6 and run into that trouble.
Afterwards one of the employees that run the machine all day, told me that they
use Feed Override less than 100% and reduced max_Velocity on the Axis Frontend
for quiet some time now. Nobody told me that before.
OK, however, sorry that I bothered the developers list with some hardware
issues.
And another time, thanks to Gene for the advanced electronic course. It always
helps understanding what happens inside a package.
