Hi, DofCs and technical files are required as a part of the EMC directive. 1 to 5 days for a DofC and 8 days for test reports (i.e. technical file) appear to be guidelines so that one demonstrates proof of compliance in a timely manner. One would think that authorities can request IMMEDIATE proof, in which case several days would seem to be more reasonable still.
This would not really appear to be anything extraordinary.
