I was under the impression that, regardless of the routes taken to show
compliance with the EMC Directive, a manufacturer had to:
1) Write out a DoC
2) Prepare a Technical File consisting of two parts:
Part A containing description of product, test results, justification for
CE mark etc. etc.
Part B Detailed info on product
The DoC and Technical File (NOT to be confused with a Tecnical Construction
File) should be available to the authorities upon request, Part A within a
fairly short time period (8 days ?) and the second part within an extended
time frame (14 days ??).
Sorry I can't remember the specifics...can anyone else out there confirm
these requirements???

Mark Briggs
