Good day all,
I have a question regarding fuses and their interchangeability relative to EN61010. If I want to substitute a 1.6A, 250VAC,slow-blow, with the same opening time, same Interrupting Rating, VDE, UL, SEMKO approved fuse with another with the same ratings and approvals EXCEPT that the nominal cold resistance and nominal melting temperatures are slightly different (one more specifically designed for surge) is this interchange allowed under 61010? I can find no test or specification that would be influenced by this. The overload test should respond much the same. Any insight would be appreciated Regards, Lisa Lisa A.
