No. I think you asked a perfectly clear question. And it's a very important one as well. The only checklist that I successfully implented involved test results that I performed in-house on the the product which were as near to the actual testing necessary for compliance at an independent third party lab. And that when such testing was performed at an independent, those tests were actually confirmation of what I had already done. Measurement error and variance to be tolerated of course. Other than that, I'm perfectly serious about getting yourself on as a signatory to whatever paperwork that needs to be signed off which effects anything with the design and layout. I have had the experience of trying to implement a rather extensive EMC Design Guideline in three different companies. The result of which was to be able state within a few dB exactly by how much each design quideline would produce lowered emissions. And if I could not *in general terms* state by how each issue could lower emissions fairly accurately, the whole thing being thrown out. I learned to be involved in the whole design process from beginning to end. To even look over the shoulder of the layout person as well. It's my opinion that the whole checklist thing in just my own experience gave people the impression of me offloading my job onto them. And thus, it was kicked back. In the end, I was the one who did my own checklist. Now as far as that is concerned, that checklist was extremely extensive.
