Checklists never seemed to work no matter where I worked and no matter how carefully I would write out design guidelines. Usually I had to edit them after a while to say, Check design and layout with EMC engineer? Y/N or Has EMC Engineer signed off design and layout? Y/N I'm sorry if this sounds facetious, but unfortunately it's very true. The best way to control EMC issues is to beat someone over the head to get you on the list of signatories for your company's ECR/ECOs. Regards, Doug McKean
