I read in !emc-pstc that robert Macy <[email protected]> wrote (in <[email protected]>) about 'Pace makers, speakers, magnetic fields' on Tue, 9 Mar 2004: >Over 2 microteslas. Limit is 200 nT.
The Earth's field in UK is about 100 microtesla. When you car is moving, you are moving through that field, which varies somewhat even on a small scale. So it's not a purely constant field. We have *evolved* in fields of that range of strengths. I guess that it's not allowed to run from east to west in Sweden. -- Regards, John Woodgate, OOO - Own Opinions Only.
