Given 50 kV across a dipole you will get 35 megawatts. Directed with a gain of 10 dBi this will give 2000 V/m at 50 meters. Is this enough to stop automobile electronics? Subject is automotive EMC and the intentional disruption of microprocessors in automobiles to disable vehicles, presumably during chases. Knowing the lengths that the automotive EMC community goes to to prevent this exact effect, and having been involved in similar "pursuits" of my own, I have my doubts, but am interested in the opinions of others.
