Regarding non-clock related frequencies, I remember a 105 MHz 5 volt rail-to-rail oscillation on a 33 MHz computer's card slot bus. Turned out that when the bus driver was tristated high impedance, noise turned the drivers on and off; the traces resonated and we got a *healthy* signal at their resonant frequency.
