Mark: You are quite correct about the CEC, you can set up a special inspection of the product with CSA, go to their website and check. http://www.csa-international.org Depending on where the product is going in Canada you can contact the appropriate office in Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver.
For EMI Industry Canada (not the FCC) manages this, the product may be exempt but it's best to check.
