A quick guess. I think your PBT is solvent in acetone.  Your nylon is not.  I
quick swipe with an acetone q-tip should see a difference.

The nylon is much more complaint while the PBT is harder and more

resistance as a measure but think this may be 

too difficult to get enough of a difference as 

the plastics are insulating material.
