Hi Brian:
Very interesting. DMMs are commonly available to measure up to 1000 V DC with accuracies of 0.1% or better. However, DMM probes for voltages greater than 1000 V DC are typically 2% accuracy. (Oscilloscope HV probes are MUCH better!) However (again), the Fluke 80K-6 will give you 1% with a 0.25% DMM! http://www.fluke.com/fluke/usen/accessories/high-voltage-probes/80k-6.htm?PI D=55358 Best regards, Rich > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf > Of Brian Oconnell > Sent: Wednesday, October 05, 2011 1:07 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: RE: [PSES] hi-pot tester > > > Hello Rich, > > Everyone says NIS and 4 to 6 weeks.
