What defines an industrial environment in Europe? EN 55011 defines Class A equipment as "equipment suitable for use in all establishments other than domestic and those directly connected to a low voltage power supply network which supplies buildings used for domestic purposes."
EN 55011 defines Class B equipment as "equipment suitable for use in a domestic establishments and in establishments directly connected to a low voltage power supply network which supplies buildings used for domestic purposes." EN 55022 defines a domestic environment as "where the use of broadcast radio and television receivers may be expected within a distance of 10 m of the apparatus concerned." So would an industrial environment be anything not connected to the public power mains and where the use of radio and TV would not be expected within a distance of 10 meters?
