1. IEC/EN60065 is not adequate for the discussed scope - and the harmonized
standard list  of the RTTE directive references article 2 of the LVD.

2. UL60065 makes additional standards normative for batteries and charger
power sources.

3. You are correct that chargers embedded in another product are not scoped by
60335-2-29 - I should have been more specific, as I must apply it because some
of my employers products have a vehicle power adapter, and the scope of
335-2-29 applies to this.
