How I should understand the current standards (EN55022, EN55024) ?
How the conducted disturbance at mains terminals of 12V DC powered device
should be measured:
1. At its 12V DC input ?
2. At mains input of "standard" 12V (buffered) supply (the same problem as
with "standard" PC) ?
3. Not measured at all as device has not mains terminals ?

The same question regarding immunity:
At DC input or at AC input of "standard" 12V buffered supply.
The same "standard" supply used several times can fail Surge sometimes -
what then.
Should I use each time new "standard" supply and then WEEE it as used
equipment ?

When I was speaking (my first attempt to EMC) with one accredited lab (in
2002) they said I have to come with "standard" supply because they have no
supply to destroy it for my measurements.
When in 2004/2005 I've done some measurements (one firm's lab) they just
measured at DC input (they also produce a lot of 12V powered devices and
measure them that way).

Best regards
